Firstly, Could you please tell us what is your Android phone to make sure that it’s compatible with androidpc. Secondly, we uploaded androidpc to andapponline.com , you can follow this link to download apk file. Note that Android market won’t update Androidpc if you doing this way, you have to update it manually.

I cannot find the AndroidPC on the Android market. I’m using a Behold II running Android 1.6 firmware. I’ve looked everywhere and I can’t seem to find the file to download to my cell.
AndroidPC require Android 2.0 or above to be run. However, you can download apk file to install it manually

i had this run for me one time. it ran very well.
when i tried to used the app a second time i can’t get the dashboard to open. i am running ubuntu.. any ideas?

i keep getting a “the program has already started” error message. and there doesn’t appear to be any way for me to get around it. because i can’t tell which one was the original iteration just blends in.
This is because there is a program running in the memory. You can turn it off by using some kind of task manager to kill it before open a new one. Its name is javaws.exe

I am located in Spain, I have a NexusOne (Froyo, MIUI ROM) and a Samsung Galaxy Tab (Froyo, no custom ROM). Both handsets can’t find your app in the market… can i get the APK from somewhere else?

Will you pls make a youtube video on how to make this work. I have tried everyhing. Phone says connected, PC says connected but neither will sync. I hit sync on phone and i looks like it is working the the force close window opens and the data never syncs.
we noted that issues on some devices and will release a patch soon

I’m running ubuntu. As Sean I had run for one time. Nice program!.
But when I tried a second time, I can’t get the dashboard to open.
Just the icon and push over “open Dashboard” and no results.
In the mobile says “connected to pc”
Restart the PC and try again (and again, and again) and no results
The soft in the PC is Ubuntu 10.04 + Java 6 OpenJDK + Java Icedtea (looked in software center)
Do you know what can I do?

Hi I installed the app and found 2 issues:
1. It doesnot connect to the PC . I have HTC desire running froyo
2. Even if it is not able to connect the prompt says “connected to android”

what will be a great feature is that if you make a phone call and you are connected that you get the sound from your pc speakers and talk with your pc mic. also a whats app feature

I am running linux, and checked no android app is running:

I have installed the application on my phone. For the pc part, the launch button takes me to the java download page. I have java installed on my pc already. I just need the pc part. Where do i get that from dude

For those who are still stuck not beeing able to run the application the second time, here is a fix for windows or linux.
open a command line and type in :
javaws -import http://www.viandroid.net/updates/androidpc2.jnlp
this command is going to install the application into your cache memory. it will also prompt you to install a shortcut. say yes.
once that is done, i was able to run androidpc by double clicking the shortcut.

A really good app on the android end, but on the java end, when there’s too much data to handle, its crashing. Please try optimizing the Java end for handling more messages.

BUT when i send a text message to someone it doesn’t always display what i’ve typed. this happens one in every 3 – 5 messages i send. anyone else notice this?
*Clicking the conversation above the typing area refreshes and displays the messages that didn’t show up. It’s a temporary solution til it’s fixed

I am having a problem opening androidPC on my Mac. I am fully updated with Mac OSX 10.8.2 Java opens and closes, nothing else ever happens. Any suggestions?
